These apply like a dream. At first, it seems like you're getting just what you pay for; a glossy balm. As the day goes on, that stain doesn't mean much. Hard Candy has managed to put every negative effect of a lip stain in one product.
I found the gloss aspect to fade within the first fifteen minutes of wear. It wasn't too much of a disappointment because the color was there and the stain made my lips have an almost velvet feel.
After an hour I noticed my lips not only becoming a bit chapped, but the stain was fading and looked patchy in color. In all honesty, my much-loved Jumbo Lip Gloss Sticks by ELF give me longer wear and pull off a 'stain' better than this Hard Candy Balm.
