Nude Awakening • Review & Swatches

Wet N Wild Color Icon Collection • Nude Awakening

This palette was released in spring 2013 and is now discontinued. You can purchase Nude Awakening by following the link. This was my first order through Nonpareil Boutique & the entire experience was quick and professional.

LEFT COLUMN . NUDE AWAKENING
Brow bone • This is a nice satin nude that blends out to a matte highlight. If you have a darker skin tone, apply this brow bone shadow with a light hand.
Eyelid • I love this shadow. This reminds me a lot of MAC's Honesty or ELF's Peach Fizz. It blends well and is easily build-able.
Crease • This crease shadow is a nice rusted brown with a slight satin shine. Once in the crease it looks matte and pairs well with the eyelid shadow.
Definer • This deeper bark is perfect for making the crease and corner pop. The golden glitter isn't too noticeable but hints in sunlight.
RIGHT COLUMN . NUDE AWAKENING
Brow bone • I'm not too sure why Wet N Wild thinks copper is a good brow bone shade, but I would use this as a lid or base shadow. Great pigmentation.
Eyelid • This is basically the left definer's offspring. As a lighter brown with almost brass shimmer, rather than gold. I only wish it blended better.
Crease • If you seek a nice denim, this is your shadow. While it can be difficult to work with, it is build-able and blends nicely in the crease.
Definer • This eye shadow is the navy that comes off as black. While the lighter blue specks of glitter help it, the shadow flops without the crease color.
